The project consists of 5 workpackages:

• WP1 Project management
  
• WP2 Sediment transport monitoring
  
• WP3 Computer based sediment transport modeling
  
• WP4 Physical hydraulic models
  
• WP5 Public relations

The three most important work packages will be described in detail, additionally the progress of the research channel (part of WP4) will be documented.
